Joan Is Awful[]
Joan Tait purchases four Buster Burgers from a Barnies in the USA, and consumes them along with whiskey and a laxative. The takeout bags specify the company uses "100% American Produce".
Bête Noire[]
A variant of Barnies, specializing in selling fried chicken, is featured in the episode. Kae, the boyfriend of Maria Skinner, used to work at one of their stores in South London for over a year. The name was originally Bernies before reality was changed by Verity Greene.
