Notes and Trivia[]

References to other Black Mirror episodes[]

  • The Guide is a limited sentient recreation of a real person (in this case Carol's daughter), similar to a Cookie but more like the restricted version featured in Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too.
  • Eulogy utilizes a type of Experiencer Disk called a Guide Disk, previously seen in various other episodes such as USS Callister, Striking Vipers, and San Junipero.
  • A copy of the Bandersnatch book is briefly seen in Philip's office.
  • The user interface of Eulogy's full spectrum memory creations is very similar to the one used by the Grain system in The Entire History of You.
  • When flashing back to when he and Carol first moved in together, a bottle of Ditta brand cola is seen on top of the fridge.
  • A flashback to 1992 shows a carton of Raiman's Whole Milk on the kitchen counter.
  • In a flashback to a band performance in 1991, a partially obstructed poster shows the words "against fire" and "mass", referencing Men Against Fire and the MASS implant. Another in front of it references The National Anthem.
  • The bespoke London restaurant Searle's is likely a reference to Steve Searle, a producer for the show.
