To prevent Michael Callow from having sex with a pig on live TV, Special Agent Callett hires Noel, a visual effects supervisor from his company Blue Eye, who won an Emmy for their work on Sea of Tranquility, to complete the task of digitally compositing and tracking a CG replica of Callow’s head on porn star Rod Flynn "Rod Senseless."
Nosedive[]
It is established the variant of the show in this episode is instead a Japanese sci-fi fantasy anime, as opposed to an HBO live action sci-fi western. When Lacie Pound searches for details of the show, the storyline is described as following Lieutenant Duster and his crew's battles against the antagonists, the Intergalactica Empire.
Lacie uses this information to pretend to be a fan (nicknamed a "Trankhead" within the fandom) and get a lift on a RV full of teenage girls, who are cosplayers and big fans of the show (one of them dressed as Lieutenant Duster), and are off to a convention themed around it in Port Mary (where Lacey’s friend Naomi's wedding is). When Lacey gets rejected by Naomi for her low star rating, she insults the fandom, saying that she's never seen their "stupid fucking show," gets kicked out of the RV and gets one-starred, much to Lacie's chagrin.
Arkangel[]

The preview describes it as an HBO series in its 10th season, and following the "intrepid crew" as they "manifest destiny far beyond the safety of the Inner Worlds". The spaceship in the preview image looks similar to the Endurance mission ship from the 2014 film Interstellar.
